Scarce Lionel #11001 TAN Advance Catalog Set Box

This is the Original Set Box for the #11001 Freight Set that Lionel included in the 1962 Advance Catalog. This is the VERY SCARCE tan cardboard variation, instead of the typical Type A Display Box. Tan boxes were strong and small enough to shipped cost-efficiently thru the Postal Service. This Set would have included the #1060 Steam Engine with Headlight, the #1060T Streamline Tender, the #6042 Gondola with Canisters, the #(6402) General-Type Flat Car with Cable Reels, and the #(6067) Unstamped Caboose. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE ONLY BIDDING ON THE ORIGINAL BOX. This Original Set Box is in (9-) Condition, some wear around one top corner. All Original in our Opinion. Please add $10.00 for US-48 Shipping and Insurance.
